Other TikTok users began using the sounds similarly. The video gained over 18,900 likes and 300 shares two weeks. On April 27th, 2019, TikTok user uploaded the first video that combined the start up sound with the critical stop sound to showcase a surprising funny face (shown below, left). The video accumulated over 444,600 views. The video gained over 140,200 views and 3,100 likes in three years. On November 20th, 2008, YouTuber Alex Roark uploaded a video featuring every Windows XP system sound (shown below). On September 2nd, Youtuber, Mguel pls uploaded an edited Shrek scene featuring Windows XP sounds to YouTube (shown below, right). Many of the videos featured in the compilation were made by vine user WindowsXP_Vines. The video gained over 1.8 million views and 24,000 likes in three years. On May 6th, YouTuber Dank Compilations posted a vine compilation (shown below, left). Many of the first Windows XP sound remixes were posted to Vine. The video accumulated over 444,600 views and 3,600 likes in 11 years. On November 20th, 2008, YouTuber Alex Roark uploaded a video featuring every Windows XP system sound (shown below).
On October 25th, 2001, Windows XP was released for public use which included their signature system sounds.
